Colorado liquor license attorney Brian Proffitt attended this year’s Alliance of Alcohol Industry Attorneys and Consultants annual conference in Savannah, GA. The conference is the cumulation of the years’ work of our member liquor professionals across the United States and Canada. This invitation-only group of outstanding professionals meets each year to discuss the alcohol beverage laws facing our industry and to mingle with those instrumental in drafting and interpreting these laws in an effort to help our clients obtain and maintain their alcohol service privileges across the country. It is Runco & Proffitt’s privilege to represent restaurants, bars, hotels, and package retail stores when they need assistance opening new venues or help defending against infractions brought by their respective Alcohol Beverage Authorities. Spending time with fellow liquor license attorneys and professionals allows us to form a cohesive group who together ensure that safe and legal alcohol consumption may be enjoyed throughout North America.
Savannah was an incredible host city for this event. The conference attendees were able to enjoy the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday in a city in which he preached and campaigned for civil rights. Seeing the local community and organizations remember and honor his contributions was particularly moving and a special experience.
